Syrah uit het Zuiden van Afrika - discover the world
The 2019 Guardian Peak Shiraz shows expressive dark fruits on the nose – blackberry, black cherry and mocha with sweet baking spices. The juicy fruit follows on the palate with sweet black fruit and bright cherry flavours supported by fresh acidity and notes of cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. Well integrated oak and smooth tannins make this medium bodied Shiraz infinitely drinkable.
WINEMAKING
This Shiraz was vinified in a combination of open & closed top stainless-steel fermenters to preserve the fresh fruit flavours. After fermentation the wine was tranferred to seasoned French Oak barrels for further maturation.
